Who needs a UK ETA?
This list is for general guidance only — check the official eligibility list on GOV.UK. The UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is required for visitors from eligible countries who wish to enter the United Kingdom for short-term stays, transit, tourism, or business.
ETA Validity & Duration of Stay

Validity
Your UK ETA is valid for 2 years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Travel to the United Kingdom during this period.
Duration of Stay
Each visit allows a stay of up to 6 months in the United Kingdom, under the ETA scheme. Multiple entries are permitted during your visit.
Renewal & Extension
The ETA cannot be extended. Once your ETA or passport expires, you'll need to apply for a new authorisation before you travel again.
